A visit or residency in a new environment often reveals norms––in the new place––that may be shocking or unfamiliar to us: events not so readily available where we are coming from. This is a culture shock. And this was the case for me when I moved to NYC. In this video, part II, I share certain norms I encountered in NYC that were at odds with what I was familiar with while living in Ghana.
